Sugar fermentation in yeast

Yeast is a fungus that needs a supply of energy for its living and growth, Sugar supplies this energy, and they contains enzymes that catalyse the breakdown of glucose to ethanol and carbon dioxide.

In this experiment we exploring how does the different amount of sugars affect fermentation in yeast - the balloon in this experiment are capturing the waste product of carbon dioxide that’s come from the fermentation of the yeast .
