Sugar fermentation in yeast

Yeast is a fungus that needs a supply of energy for its living and growth, Sugar supplies this energy, and they contains enzymes that catalyse the breakdown of glucose to ethanol and carbon dioxide.

In this experiment we exploring how does the different amount of sugars affect fermentation in yeast -The bottle contains yeast, sugar, and water ,the yeast use the sugar for fermentation to break down the sugar into ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide gas . The gas produced by this reaction creates the foam and inflates the balloon.
