Question:

Global warming is the long-term rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system. It is a major aspect of climate change. As stated on the UN website: there is disturbing evidence that the threshold exceeding, leading to irreversible changes in the ecosystems and climate system of our planet, has already occurred.

The climate system responds to changes in external forces, capable of "pushing" the climate in the direction of warming or cooling. Examples of such effects are: changes in the gas composition of the atmosphere, variations in the luminosity of the Sun, volcanic eruptions, changes in the orbital motion of the Earth around the Sun.

In 1999, data were published that the current period of temperature rise is very sharp and is unprecedented, unparalleled in the last two thousand years.  After this publication, the topic of global warming for the first time sounded at the interstate level and soon became one of the main topics of climate science and modern world politics.

Сlimate impacts:

  • The melting of Arctic ice
  • Сhanges in the amount and distribution of precipitation.
  • Heat wave
  • Ocean acidification
  • Extinction of some species ща animals
  • Social changes (mental)

Prevention

At the 2010 conference in Cancun, Mexico, the parties recognized their goal of limiting warming to 2 °C and stated the "urgent need to take urgent action" to achieve this goal. Сurrently, the only way to slow the GW is to stop the increase in the size of the economies of developed countries and their transition to an anti-growth strategy.

Research

Make a research for different continents, how much a problem of global warming is critical for the certain continent.
What influenced on the global warming at this continent, how fast it goes?

What is the consequences now? After 50 years?
