Question:

Jellyfish are an important and often conspicuous component of oceanic food webs. During the past several decades, dramatic spatial increases and temporal shifts in jellyfish distributions, where reported around the world and on the Mediterranean Sea.

 We can say that Jellyfish blooms are global Phenomena. Coastal areas around the world are struggling with jellyfish blooms. 

Some of the jellyfish species are Invasive species that came to the Mediterranean Sea from the red sea throw the Nile cannel.

If you live near the Mediterranean Sea coastline and you are going there to swim or just to relax.

When you encounter a jellyfish bloom: Add the exact location, and write a description about it.  

1.      What kind of jellyfish did you see?

2.      Is it an Invasive species?

3.      How many jellyfish you see in a 100 meter off coastline?

4.      Are there people in the water?
