Hi Shaeer,

your question was presented properly. The movie was an excellent vivid  explanation of the question. I'm pleased to inform you that it helped me to answer the question correctly. Thanks, Jacky

Hi
The movie is interesting and attracting, but shows only one way of feeding.

The question doesn't check epistemological knowledge nor procedural.
The source of the question in PIZA or TIMSS is not mentioned.
An information about the place Brazil is not written.
A capital letter is missing at the middle of a sentence.
You should point the source of the picture.
Good luck,
Anat

Hi

thank you Jacky.

Hi Anat,

I appreciate your notes,

The movie is not to answer the question it is just an illustration to see the piranhas eat.

This question I created, I used information from many sources, it is about properties of piranhas, and this specific question is about what piranhas eat.

About the place: I mentioned in the question: " : "… fish of South American rivers and lakes" and I wrote in the description of the question: Piranhas range from northern Argentina to Colombia, but they are most diverse in the Amazon River, where 20 different species are found.

So the place is

Amazon River

PA-257, Santarém - PA, Brazil

About the capital letter, if you mean P in the word piranha, it should not be capital, like using the word fish in the middle of a sentence.

The picture is taken from this site: http://filmschoolrejects.com/news/piranha-3dd-the-amityville-horror-the-lost-tapes-delayed-nadam.php/attachment/piranha-3d-3

Thank you,

Saheer

Your question was presented properly. The movie was an excellent vivid explanation of the question. I'm pleased to inform you that it helped me to answer the question correctly. The only corrective comment I have, is for you to add the location of the question whether it's from PISA or TIMS.

Thanks, Jacky

About your note regarding the question's source
I have done a little research about the subject, read about it from various sources and I came up with the question.
